Terms of Purchase and Delivery

Below you will find information about your rights and obligations as a consumer when shopping in our online store Skotersverige.se and in the Skotersverige App.

Items for Sale

The items currently available for purchase through our platforms are memberships and various tickets and passes.

Prices

Prices at checkout include VAT (currently 25%). We reserve the right to adjust prices due to price changes, VAT adjustments, currency changes, printing errors, clearance sales, or similar circumstances. Any such changes will be communicated at the time of ordering.

Delivery Conditions

The delivery time for membership purchases is immediate after completing the purchase. To shop in this store, you must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent, in accordance with applicable law.

Right of Withdrawal / Complaints

We follow the distance selling regulations according to the recommendations of the Consumer Agency. Under the Distance Selling Act, you have the right to return ordered non-defective items without providing any reason. Notification must be given to Skotersverige before the return and as soon as possible, but no later than fourteen (14) days from receipt of the item.

All products are covered by a warranty, normally one (1) year, unless a longer warranty period applies. In the event of a proven manufacturing defect, replacement parts will be provided. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear.

Return shipping costs for canceled purchases are covered by us. Refunds are processed via Swish or Direct2 Internet as soon as the return has been received and verified.

Payment Options

Our checkout currently offers secure payment by card or Swish. All payments are processed in Swedish Krona (SEK) and include VAT.

GDPR – Personal Data Processing

Consent for the registration of personal data

When placing an order with Skotersverige, you are required to provide personal information such as personal or organization number, name, address, email address, and phone number. By completing your purchase, you consent to Skotersverige storing and processing your personal data in order to fulfill our agreement with you.

Sharing of personal data

Your information will be shared with Direct2 Internet and Swish in accordance with our agreements with these payment service providers. Personal data is only shared when required to complete the selected payment method. No personal data is sold to third parties.

Data storage and retention

Personal data is stored only for as long as required under applicable accounting and legal obligations. To protect against fraud, your IP address may also be stored.

Right to access your data

In accordance with GDPR, you have the right to access the personal data we process about you and to request corrections if the information is inaccurate.

Handling of personal data complaints

If you believe that Skotersverige does not comply with applicable data protection regulations, you have the right to contact the Data Protection Authority (Datainspektionen).

Location Data and App Permissions (Sensitive Data)

The Skotersverige App uses location data solely to provide core functionality related to trail navigation and ride recording for snowmobile users. Location data is never used for advertising, marketing, profiling, or tracking across apps or websites.

Purpose of location data usage

Displaying your position on the map when browsing trails and clubs
Recording routes, distance, and movement when a Ride is actively started by the user
Improving navigation accuracy and trail presentation

Foreground and background location access

Foreground location access is used while the app is open and in use. Background location access is required only to continue Ride recording when the app is minimized or the device is locked.

Background location is collected only:

When a Ride recording has been explicitly started by the user
When background location permission has been granted
For the duration of the active Ride

The user is always informed when background location tracking is active through system notifications or indicators, in accordance with Android and iOS requirements.

User control

You may revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings or stop tracking by ending the Ride recording.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes are primarily resolved through dialogue with our customer service. Our goal is that you always feel satisfied and secure when purchasing from Skotersverige.
